  • This product is simply Amazing… Yeah amazing that it made it to my home in 1 piece. As I opened the package the first thing I noticed is how it came in a small manilla envelope, with one layer of bubble wrap on the inside. Should’ent it have atleast come in a box, somthing a little protective? and why is this package so light? Is there even anything in it ? Well, I began to open the package and the second thing I notice is that the label says it took $1.68 for S&H to send it. I spent $5.98 on S&H ! Where the hell did my $4.30 go ? Is this how their making money off of this controller ? Oh well, maybe the controller will make it worth the money, I mean it has too, i spent $0.01 on it, a turd wrapped in birthday gift paper covered with chocalate sprinkles with toothpicks sticking out of it like little legs to stand it up would be worth a little more than that. I cut the tape with my knife and out slowley rolled the controller, slowley slipping between the envelope flaps and plopping onto the table… kinda reminded me of somebody taking a dump. The controller was so light, that when it landed on the table, it barely made a noise at all. The controller is so cheap, that the paper sticker, yes, the paper sticker looks like somebody printed it out on their ink jet printer and slapped adhesive glue on the back ! Anyways, the sticker actually has a crease from where it was’ent put on correctly, and to top that, they did’ent even spend the time to print another one, they just left it. So much for presentation. Now the original SNES controller atleast had a nylon type sticker on it.

Now back to the weight issue. The customer claims that it has “an authentic look and feel.” This controller does look similar to the snes controller, but not exact. (mainly with the sticker being a completly different color and it saying its non-name brand on the front of it in huge bold letters. Yeah, I cant actually remember the name brand of the controller, thats how cheap it is.)

So, to finalize this article of review I’d like to end this with a big bold “DONT BUY THIS CONTROLLER” Even if it is a penny. I noticed today that I guess the theft of my $4.30 S&h was’ent satisfaction enough for them, they put the price up 5 cents. So now its 6cents. but what ever, I guess I can always give this controller to the victim of my Sweet Mortal Kombat 2/3 skills, I’m always looking for an advantage. :P

  • You can press the buttons sometimes and have it totally not register on the snes. feels very cheap, very plastic-y.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTROLLER AT ALL COSTS. controller is very cheap.

  • The controller game today… I don’t see what the major flaws are… It was able to be played out of the box and works well.

I will say that while it works, IT IS NOT a Nintendo SNES controller… but it matches the original controller in appearance. It does not match the SNES in terms of weight (it feels lighter in hand), is a thinner than the original, and the buttons are a little stiffer (but it does not affect game play, and should reduce with time).

Seller was great and arrived on the first day I was too expect it.

If you’re looking for a cheap SNES controller that plays well… go ahead and buy it!

  • I thought i was getting an SNES controller made by Nintendo, but this is actually just a re-make, its not made by Nintendo. While most of the buttons do actually work, the down function for the Directional pad does not work, making the controller un-usable. I will not buy one of these again.

  • I bought this for my brother so he could use the SNES we’ve had sitting in the closet forever. It arrived quickly but within seconds of pulling it out of the box, I noticed that the B button was half pressed in and didn’t spring back up. Upon hooking it into the SNES console, the down direction only works when pressed down hard. Pressing down results in about 50% of the time it going left or right instead of down (quite frustrating in games like punch out)

You get what you pay for…so I suggest not bothering with this one.
